We are doing lighting right now and textures. I have this thing uv map (which took so long and was so much fun) and doing up an image. I am doing the desert camo version going to try to put scratches and really tweek it out. Might do the black version (as owned by the bat) and maybe a civilian version all red candy colored.
So far I got a bunch of the details but still need to do alot and cleanup my mistakes. The wheel is a separate object but the car is from a cube. I still need to do rear tires, jet engine, and flap details. I think I am going to clean up front tire the inner hub. I did the front tire (not shown)and starting on rear, this thing is so fun and starting to really look good. I got tread on tire. Also adding a bunch of details like saw tooth edges.
UPDATE. I added the guns in front, the saw tooth details around windows, flaps in the back, and tire treads on tires. The main body is still one cube, rear tires are connected I figure it will make it easier to animate, and the front are well seperate. All in all 1 cube (main body) 6 cylinders (1 for each tire and rims/spokes) and I forgot the suspension and guns cylinders. Still working on the rear
UPDATE2. Finished the engine and I kind of like it. So far I have been so happy doing this cant wait to image map it (our next project) its probably going to be difficult as all get out but, so much fun
Just completed project #2 for class it is supposed to be a 2 minute trailer. My concept is a trailer for the movie they are trying to make in Tropic Thunder. I am not all too happy with the middle of the project but the opening and the end I really enjoy. I was limited by the audio using the audio from the crappy movie rip I had but I think I pulled some really good inovative stuff. My class mates are super talented and it has been a joy to watch their trailers and if anyone posts I will link to it.
I am going to Platt college for my second bachelors degree, this time computer animation. Right now I am in Intro to Digital Video and it’s going really good. We are using final cut pro and yes it’s on amac so I am getting reaquanted with that eco system. My first project I did a stop motion, I did a story board of the story I wanted to tell and then shot it with a camera. I will post it as soon as I can but needless to say I am fairly happy with it being my first project.
I am making a huge effort to post some of my portfolio pieces and some of the work I have done for others over the years in my artwork page. Basically get myself into self promo mode and make sure I am marketable. I am working so hard on Tasty Weather Toons and finishing Holiday Match-em images for fellow dev that I have neglected my self promo. Actually to be honest never thought I would have to get my portfolio online.
I did the Chistmas Match-em images and thought those turned out real well (app for the palm pre, and pixie). I think the Holiday match-em is so much better but still keeping the look and feel of Christmas Match-em. I think the dev will love it. Oh and I created a splash screen image for SuperTux (webOS internals). I am looking forward to seeing that.
It’s out and I am so jazzed. I worked real hard on the Tasty Toons models. I used one of my other styles so I don’t bore people who have Tasty Toons wallpaper app. The programmer put in alot of hours as well dialing it in as well. She does great work and a huge thank you goes out to others of the Palm community that helped test it and field questions. The Palm community is awesome.
I am working on another Tasty Toon wallpaper app in a different style than any used before along with adding to Tasty Weather Toons. As always comments or questions are welcome.
I have been busy as all get out so I haven’t been posting much. I am working on a couple new apps for Palm Pre (Tasty2oons and a new Wallpaper app and a weather app). I forgot how much I enjoy this app called poster.

This kind of makes me smile a bit and the idea of a rock super god actually spending time scaring the hell out of his hands with a funny prank is kind of nice to see specially with the whole oo poor me I am famous and I dont want to talk to anyone going on with hollywood and the like. All I got to say is if you think you are going to have a problem with all the attention dont get into anything that may lead to fame because fans and people wanting to know what your doing is kind of apart of your job.
Hey I was into “mash the buttons and beat the pants of your opponent” style of gaming when it came to fighting games (I am looking at you Dead or Alive) but, this is looking really nice. This game has come such along way from putting quarters into a arcade machine to make photos fight themselves. I really hope it has a good network play I dont know anyone in my area I web play it up with my friends (hey I like caffinated beef jerky so breath is kicken with a caffine edge to it)
